Your territory

As part of our Firmware team, you will:

• Develop world-class firmware and hardware devices for a world pet tech market leader
• Join forces with the team all the way, from concept to series production
• Test and analyze prototypes
• Improve and optimize according to key metrics like power consumption, accuracy and data volume
• Implement tracker server interfaces in C++
• Work with the latest technologies in areas like IoT and M2M
• Dive into Test Automation or Firmware Development depending on your area of expertise and interest
• Stay up to date with state-of-the-art technologies, because we are interested in the most efficient and latest solutions
• Learn from experienced developers in an agile environment
• Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
• Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

• Ideally experience with embedded systems and firmware development (bare metal)
• Knowledge of C++ in an embedded environment
• Willingness to learn and to work as part of an awesome, international team
• Very good English skills
• Valid work permit for Austria or student of an Austrian university/FH

Salary range

Just so you know what to expect: The monthly gross salary for an internship is € 2,038 on a full-time basis. At Tractive, that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend.
